Amanda Seales feels that there are more important things to worry about right now than whether or not she's had issues with her former co-hosts on The Real, but she'll address these rumours anyway just to get it out of the way. On Tuesday (June 2nd), Amanda announced that she had decided not to renew her contract for the daytime talk show, and explained that she didn't feel like she had been able to use her voice in the way she wanted.

"It doesn’t feel good to my soul to be at a place where I can not speak to my people the way they need to be spoken to," she noted. "I’m not at a space where as a full black woman, I can have my voice and my co-workers also have their voices and where the people at the top are not respecting the necessity for black voices to be at the top too."

While the issue appeared to largely be with the higher-ups at the network, many began speculating that Amanda might have been having some problems with her fellow co-hosts, in particular Loni Love. Fans noticed that the Instagram account for The Real, as well as Loni's personal account, had supposedly unfollowed Amanda, and that she had unfollowed Loni back.
However, Amanda completely shut down these rumours, and called out everyone who was focused on imaginary drama between The Real ladies instead of on what's going on outside in the process.
“Do not try to create some false descension between me and the cohosts of ‘The Real,'" Amanda demanded. "Y’all so f*ckin’ corny. There is a whole pandemic and an uprising going on, and you still can’t find sh*t else to do? You try to create some conflict that doesn’t exist? I did not unfollow Loni Love. I haven't unfollowed anybody! Shout out to Jeannie, shout out to Tams, shout out to Loni Love, and shout out to Adrienne."
"What y'all don’t understand is grown women do grown women business, that’s what y’all don’t understand," she continued. "And what I do with my business ain’t got nothing to do with them sistas. Y’all need to have a good day and get your minds focused on what we need to do to make this a good world." Well there you have it. It looks like all Amanda wants is for everyone to redirect their energy towards doing something productive.
Adrienne Houghton Reveals What Attracted Her To Husband: "I Need A Man To Check Me"
Adrienne Houghton spoke with Fat Joe about what drew her to her husband, Israel Houghton and why they’re such a great match.
They may seem like an unlikely couple to some, but Adrienne Houghton will tell you that her husband, gospel great Israel Houghton, is her match made in heaven. She dated Rob Kardashian for two years in the late 2000s and later, she was engaged Roc Nation executive Lenny Santiago after dating for six years. Israel Houghton was a friend and less than a year after breaking off her engagement to Lenny, Adrienne and Israel were married after only dating for six months.

Adrienne chatted with Fat Joe on Instagram Live about her marriage, and during the discussion, the 36-year-old revealed what attracted her to her 48-year-old husband. “He’s so funny. If you can make a girl laugh, you can make her do anything,” said Adrienne. “So, he was funny, he let me be me, and I think there’s something about a man who lets you be genuinely who you are.”
She also said that she can be rather abrasive and sometimes she needs a man who knows how to put his foot down, albeit lovingly. “I have a reckless mouth, everybody knows it. I can be somewhat alpha female like, this is what we’re doing, and kind of bossy,” Adrienne added. “I love that he lets me be that. He lets me be that and I almost love when he becomes that because I need that in my life. I need a man sometimes to check me or be like, ‘That’s not what we’re doing.’ So it goes both ways. I think women that are successful in business, they need a man sometimes to take control. So I love that he allows me to be the woman I am on the business side and run my stuff and talk my ish on The Real, and then I come home and he lets me be who I am. He celebrates that.”
Raven-Symoné & Kiely Williams Address "Cheetah Girls" Drama On IG Live
Former “Cheetah Girls” co-stars Raven-Symoné and Kiely Williams discussed all their past drama and Kiely’s beef with fellow Cheetah Girl, Adrienne Houghton.
Who knew quarantine would bring so much Cheetah Girls beef to the forefront? Raven-Symoné and Kiely Williams, two of the stars of the famous feline film franchise, recently hopped on Instagram live together to unpack all the drama, which includes Kiely’s public feud with their former cast mate, Adrienne Houghton (née Bailon). During their chat, the childhood friends took the opportunity to make amends and put everything out on the table, including Raven’s decision not to appear in the third Cheetah Girls film in 2008.

“Because of you, I get to talk to you and heal a wound from that time period when we were younger that I probably wouldn’t get to do if I didn’t understand that you know what, you like to shake sh*t up,” Raven said to Kiely. “Yeah, I’m a fire starter, for sure,” Kiely confessed. “It’s an acquired taste.” Raven went on to give an explanation for why she didn’t do The Cheetah Girls 3: One World. “The cliquish way that there was during that movie made me feel excluded from my original team,” Raven said. “Not that it was strong to begin with, but I felt excluded…we have other things that just led up to that moment that just were weird, personal outside of business.” Kiely apologized and told her, “I would never try to hurt you on purpose.” Raven accepted it, saying, “Well, I appreciate that, sweetheart,” before promising to “release any pain towards you that I have. I cancel, clear and delete it.”

They moved on to discuss Kiely’s comments toward Adrienne, whom she was also in the girl group, 3LW, with. Kiely recently called Adrienne a liar on a separate solo IG live session, claiming that she was “pretending to be my best friend” all along. After Raven insisted that Kiely must talk to Adrienne directly, Kiely explained why that’s not going to happen. “No, she didn’t come to my dad’s funeral or call me when he died,” she said. “I’m sorry, I’m not trying to be messy. I’m being for real with you, no. I’m sorry, I love you. I swear to God, nope. Come on. You can say what you want about me and how you felt about me, but you can’t ever say that I didn’t ride for Adrienne. You can’t say that. I didn’t do anything!” Raven sympathized, revealing that her own best friend didn’t invite her to her wedding. “But I still talk to her because the history that we have for one another is so thick, she knows a part of you that nobody else knows,” she noted. “But y’all prideful asses need to calm down, take a pill for a second and say, ‘I’m pissed at you, but let’s talk about it.’ Just like I said with you. ‘I’m pissed about it, but let’s get it out like grown women.’” Watch their full conversation on IG live below:
Loni Love Denies Getting Tamar Braxton Fired From "The Real"
Loni Love is denying Cookie Hull’s claims that she plotted to get Tamar Braxton fired from “The Real.”
Last month, comedian/writer Cookie Hull revealed that Loni Love concocted several emails that would ultimately lead to Tamar Braxton getting fired from The Real. While current hosts of the daytime talk show have feuded and made up with the Braxton sister on multiple occasions, the saga between Tamar and the cast consisting of Tamera Mowry, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, Adrienne Bailon and The Real‘s newest addition Amanda Seales continues years after Braxton’s departure from the show. Now, Loni Love is clearing the air about the rumor that it was her that contributed to the singer/songwriter from getting dismissed from the television series.

According to Cookie Hull, who is an ex-friend and collaborator of Loni Love’s, the 48-year-old comedian turned television personality plotted against Tamar Braxton because she wanted to be the show’s only “ghetto” cast member and didn’t appreciate Braxton taking all of her shine. While Hull’s claims do sound fictitious and bizarre, some fans of the show and Braxton’s following believed the rumor to be true. This is why Love is coming forward and speaking her truth about the outrageous claim is nothing but a hoax.
In a recent interview with Madame Noire, Love denies that she even refers to herself in terms such as “ghetto” and would never refer to Tamar as such. The interview initially brings up the subject of Hull’s allegations, stating:
“I don’t know if you want to talk about this or not—but Cookie Hull recently did an interview with Comedy Hype and she made some claims that it was you who wrote an e-mail to get Tamar fired and you wanted to be the only ‘ghetto’ Black girl on the show. You addressed it a little bit on TheReal but didn’t say her name. So I wanted to know what you thought about that.”
Loni Love gracefully replied:
“I do have thoughts about that that I addressed in my book. But I will say this, anybody that knows me, knows that I will not describe myself as a ghetto girl. I wouldn’t describe Tamar Braxton as a ghetto girl. I might say that we believe in the power of being ourselves. But ghetto girl?! I would never do that. And also, there’s a lesson in this. When you try to help people, you have to watch who you help.”
Love continued:
“I’ve never been against any Black woman. My fans know that. That’s the reason why I wrote this book. When you read the book, you will see. I’ve been trying to get the truth out for years. But here, we dealing with this reality show type (mentality). I do address that in my book.”
Loni Love is currently promoting her new memoir, I Tried to Change So You Don’t Have To, while The Real continues to produce their Emmy-winning content for their fans. Check out a clip of Love judging the brand new competition talent show The Funny Dance Show in the Instagram post provided below.
Adrienne Houghton Says People Think Stepdaughter Mariah Is Her Sister
Adrienne Houghton and her 23-year-old stepdaughter Mariah Houghton share what makes their bond work so well.
It was back in 2016 that Adrienne Bailon surprised her fans with news that after just six months of dating, she and her boyfriend Israel Houghton were engaged to be married. Just three months later, the happy couple tied the knot making Adrienne Houghton a stepmother to the gospel musician’s four children from his previous marriage. Because Israel’s divorce was finalized six months prior to his engagement to Adrienne, there were plenty of rumors floating around about their relationship. However, they’ve seemed to rise above the gossip.

Recently, Adrienne shared a video introducing the world to her stepdaughter Mariah who apparently gets mistaken for The Real host’s sister. The relationship between Adrienne and 23-year-old Mariah is such a close bond that the ladies struggle with calling each other stepmother-stepdaughter because of the negative connotations they say are attached to the titles.
The two women talked about the “awkward transition” that they went through when Adrienne joined their family, but Mariah had previously met the for 3LW singer because she was friends with Israel before entering into a romantic relationship. For over 20 minutes of the All Things Adrienne feature, Adrienne and Mariah share stories about their escapades with one another and share why they truly love one another. Check out the clip below.
Amanda Seales Checks "Extra" TV Host After "Newbie" Comment On "The Real"
Amanda Seales says "Extra TV" host Jennifer Lahmers "tried it" on-air during the recent 1,000th episode taping of "The Real."
Since joining The Real last month as the Emmy-winning daytime talk show's permanent fifth host, Amanda Seales has been doing a pretty amazing job to say the least. While taping the 1,000th episode of the series, Seales may have even gained a few more fans after dropping a major clapback on visiting guest Jennifer Lahmers from Extra TV.

Things were all good just a few months ago when The Real cast (pre-Amanda) visited Lahmers over at Extra TV (seen above) for a lighthearted game of what appeared to be musical chairs. However, the vibe wasn't as playful this time around. Things took a left turn when Jennifer was quick to mention Seales being a "newbie" while congratulating the other ladies on accomplishing 1,000 episodes together. After they were able to brush that aside — Loni grabbing Amanda's hand on the low was enough to show tension was brewing — it then got slightly more verbal when Lahmers again made an unneeded comment about Amanda and fellow host Jeannie Mai "butting heads" during segments. This prompted the Insecure actress to address the situation by literally saying "Stop!" and explaining that her, Mai and the other ladies are allowed to have a "difference in opinion" as a diverse lineup of women rather than describing it as butting heads. "She tried it," Amanda wrote on her Instagram just a few hours ago when recollecting on the situation, continuing by writing, "Don’t come for me unless I send for you. I am not hostile. I’m passionate. Happy Black History Month ❤️✊?." She said what she said!

"The Real" ladies officially complete their starting five lineup with "Insecure" actress/comedian Amanda Seales taking a permanent seat at the table.
If starring as the outspoken-yet-lively character Tiffany DuBois in HBO's hit series Insecure wasn't enough of a boss move, comedienne Amanda Seales has just landed a permanent place as one of the hosts of award-winning FOX daytime talk show The Real.
Officially replacing former host Tamar Braxton, who left after the show's second season back in 2016, Seales joins longstanding hosts Adrienne Bailon, Loni Love, Jeezy's sweetie Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley as the series enters its sixth season this year. "I didn’t expect to cry — I’m a G!" Seales said jokingly with happy tears in her eyes, obviously feeling the emotions of being welcomed with open arms and confetti by her fellow sisters in syndication.
In addition to Insecure and The Real, Amanda also hosts NBC's comedy competition series Bring The Funny in addition to spearheading a popular podcast Small Doses With Amanda Seales. Talk about a new age Renaissance Woman!
