Amanda Seales has spoken out against the controversial statement Terry Crews made on Twitter. It read "Defeating White supremacy without White people creates Black supremacy. Equality is the truth. Like it or not, we are all in this together." Reminiscent of his attempt to contradict Gabrielle Union’s claims of discrimination on America’s Got Talent, Crews is once again under fire for his comments.
“How did none of y’all tell me what Terry Crews was over there doing last night?” Seales asked her Instagram followers this morning, referring to Crews’ recent tweet.

She then took to Twitter to set the record straight.
"Just so we're clear: 1: there is no such thing as BLACK SUPREMACY. Liberation from an oppressive system is not rooted in a desire to BECOME the oppressive system," Seales started.
Seales continued her thoughts in a thread: “2: yes, there are people who attempt to measure blackness according to diff methods. My bottom line is EVERY black experience IS a black experience UNLESS it is ANTI-black.”
“3: @terrycrews tweets and previous actions are a demonstration of anti-blackness,” said Seales. “When you use yourself in any way to obstruct the truth of another black person's PRO-BLACK experience you are a coon. He did that with Gab and he's doing that with this movement.”
She concluded the thread with a fourth tweet: “4: A lotta my fellow celebs need their phones taken away and replaced with books. You're not playing a role. You're a role model. We must know our history better than we know their scripts.✊?”
Several individuals have emerged to offer criticism against Crews’ remarks. “I love you as a friend Brother Terry. But I disagree with you 100 %. No such thing as Black Supremacy. That is a tactic that Racist whites use to counteract our rebellion to their horrific treatment of us. It's called Gas lighting. Black pride isn't anti white,” tweeted @GodfreyComedian.
Even Crews’ former castmates from Everybody Hates Chris have put on statements in response to his statement on Twitter. "I’m not trying to call you out @terrycrews. You know it’s all love always ❤️. But we’re rightfully angry right now and fed up with anyone not with our cause wholeheartedly. I don’t want to see that energy pointed your way or diverted from the cause," said @TylerJamesWill who acted the part of the main character, Chris.
@TheOrlandoJones, who played Crews' son, tweeted,“Black supremacy? We represent 13% of US population, hold no institutional power & gaslight our coworkers. We got 99 problems and your math isn't the only 1. #StrongerTogether.”

Amanda Seales Addresses Rumours That She’s Beefing With "The Real" Co-Hosts
After Amanda Seales revealed that she was leaving the talk show, "The Real," rumours began circulating that she was beefing with some of her co-hosts.
Amanda Seales feels that there are more important things to worry about right now than whether or not she's had issues with her former co-hosts on The Real, but she'll address these rumours anyway just to get it out of the way. On Tuesday (June 2nd), Amanda announced that she had decided not to renew her contract for the daytime talk show, and explained that she didn't feel like she had been able to use her voice in the way she wanted.

"It doesn’t feel good to my soul to be at a place where I can not speak to my people the way they need to be spoken to," she noted. "I’m not at a space where as a full black woman, I can have my voice and my co-workers also have their voices and where the people at the top are not respecting the necessity for black voices to be at the top too."

While the issue appeared to largely be with the higher-ups at the network, many began speculating that Amanda might have been having some problems with her fellow co-hosts, in particular Loni Love. Fans noticed that the Instagram account for The Real, as well as Loni's personal account, had supposedly unfollowed Amanda, and that she had unfollowed Loni back.
However, Amanda completely shut down these rumours, and called out everyone who was focused on imaginary drama between The Real ladies instead of on what's going on outside in the process.
“Do not try to create some false descension between me and the cohosts of ‘The Real,'" Amanda demanded. "Y’all so f*ckin’ corny. There is a whole pandemic and an uprising going on, and you still can’t find sh*t else to do? You try to create some conflict that doesn’t exist? I did not unfollow Loni Love. I haven't unfollowed anybody! Shout out to Jeannie, shout out to Tams, shout out to Loni Love, and shout out to Adrienne."
"What y'all don’t understand is grown women do grown women business, that’s what y’all don’t understand," she continued. "And what I do with my business ain’t got nothing to do with them sistas. Y’all need to have a good day and get your minds focused on what we need to do to make this a good world." Well there you have it. It looks like all Amanda wants is for everyone to redirect their energy towards doing something productive.
Amanda Seales Quits "The Real" & Explains Why
Amanda Seales says that she chose not to renew her contract at "The Real" because she cannot use her voice as she had hoped.
Amanda Seales signed on as a full-time host of The Real at the beginning of this year but, after her contract expired, she decided that she is no longer willing to be a contributor on the show, choosing not to renew her deal.
The media personality believed that her voice was being suppressed by the higher-ups on the set, choosing to leave this week. She spoke with Brandon Victor Dixon during a live-stream and explained her decision.

"My contract is up at The Real and I didn’t renew it, because it doesn’t feel good to my soul to be at a place where I can not speak to my people the way they need to be spoken to," said Seales. "And where the people that are speaking to me in despairing ways are not being handled."
She went on to suggest that she believes her voice was being muffled.
"I’m not at a space where as a full black woman, I can have my voice and my co-workers also have their voices and where the people at the top are not respecting the necessity for black voices to be at the top too," she added.
Congratulations to Amada Seales for staying true to herself. We'll keep track of what she has planned next.
Waka Flocka Thinks Rappers Need To Show Love To Their Romantic Partners
Waka Flocka discussed hip hop wanting rappers to be “rough” and “thuggish” instead of celebrating their relationships and being in love.
As they continue to promote their new reality series, Waka Flocka and Tammy Rivera stopped by The Real. The hip hop couple have been staying busy lately, especially with their reality TV projects, and now they’ve returned with another show, Waka & Tammy: What The Flocka, on WEtv. During their visit, Waka talked about hip hop being the only genre of music where artists don’t celebrate their romantic partners.

“Why we gotta be so hard?” Waka asked. “Every other genre, they can be in love, they can even be older and still be an artist. For hip hop, you gotta stay single, rough, thuggish, mean-muggish.” The Real host Amanda Seales chimed in and added that that sort of thought process doesn’t get you anywhere. Waka admitted that it “gets a lotta people some places” but for him, he wants respect and love from the people in his life.
Elsewhere, Waka Flocka talked about his aspirations of becoming a psychologist. “A lotta kids come from like, where I come from they actually need it,” he said. “A lot of us don’t got that big brother, that dad, that coach. That’s why a lot of us rely on sports because them coaches become our fathers and our older brothers. A lot of people don’t understand that.” He said he was 33-years-old when God showed him his life path “and money ain’t the motive, because I had all the money.”

Jennifer Lahmers Is Unapologetic About Amanda Seales Moment
Jennifer Lahmers’s visit to “The Real” went viral after Amanda Seales shut her down after Lahmers said Seales “butted heads” with Jeannie Mai.
A simple statement made headlines after Extra TV correspondent Jennifer Lahmers visited The Real. During a segment, the women were discussing filming their 1000th episode, and Lahmers asked “newbie” Amanda Seales about her experience since this is her first season with the talk show. After giving an answer, Lahmers stated, “You and Jeannie [Mai] have butted heads on a couple of topics…,” before she was interrupted with Amanda disagreeing and telling her “Stop.”
The moment went viral and some people took the opportunity to harass Lahmers about how she addressed the situation. The correspondent gave her first and final thoughts on the matter on her Instagram Story where she made it clear that she won’t be issuing any apologies about her question because she wa sjust doing her job.
“Humble yourself,” Jenn wrote on her Instagram Story. In the next slide, she penned, “I wouldn’t change a thing about the way I conducted that interview— addressing a topic that had made numerous headlines across multiple outlets. This is my job as a correspondent. I did not keep pressing once I got an answer and that is all I will say on the matter.” Check out Jennifer Lahmers’s response, along with the video clip from the Real, below.
Amanda Seales Checks "Extra" TV Host After "Newbie" Comment On "The Real"
Amanda Seales says "Extra TV" host Jennifer Lahmers "tried it" on-air during the recent 1,000th episode taping of "The Real."
Since joining The Real last month as the Emmy-winning daytime talk show's permanent fifth host, Amanda Seales has been doing a pretty amazing job to say the least. While taping the 1,000th episode of the series, Seales may have even gained a few more fans after dropping a major clapback on visiting guest Jennifer Lahmers from Extra TV.

Things were all good just a few months ago when The Real cast (pre-Amanda) visited Lahmers over at Extra TV (seen above) for a lighthearted game of what appeared to be musical chairs. However, the vibe wasn't as playful this time around. Things took a left turn when Jennifer was quick to mention Seales being a "newbie" while congratulating the other ladies on accomplishing 1,000 episodes together. After they were able to brush that aside — Loni grabbing Amanda's hand on the low was enough to show tension was brewing — it then got slightly more verbal when Lahmers again made an unneeded comment about Amanda and fellow host Jeannie Mai "butting heads" during segments. This prompted the Insecure actress to address the situation by literally saying "Stop!" and explaining that her, Mai and the other ladies are allowed to have a "difference in opinion" as a diverse lineup of women rather than describing it as butting heads. "She tried it," Amanda wrote on her Instagram just a few hours ago when recollecting on the situation, continuing by writing, "Don’t come for me unless I send for you. I am not hostile. I’m passionate. Happy Black History Month ❤️✊?." She said what she said!

Even though she was broke at the time, she just couldn’t do it.
There’s a saying that goes: Not all money is good money. Some people don’t stand by that creed and will chase a dollar in any direction, while others reject money-making opportunities because they realize what they’ll be sacrificing to earn the check. The ladies of The Real chatted about the topic and during their conversation, new co-host Amanda Seales revealed that she turned down VH1’s Love & Hip Hop because she wasn’t a fan of the program.
Paras Griffin / Stringer / Getty ImagesThe discussion began with a conversation about the differences between pride and self-worth. They were talking the news regarding Shaggy turning down a potential feature on Rihanna‘s next album because he didn’t feel as though he needed to audition for inclusion. Amanda shared a similar story of turning down VH1 because she didn’t agree with the message Love & Hip Hop represents.
“I was broke as a joke and they had asked me to host the Love & Hip Hop reunion,” Amada revealed. “I just don’t support the behaviors that are really promoted on that show. I just couldn’t do it, and when I tell y’all I was broke, I was broke. And I really couldn’t do it. It wasn’t about pride. It was about my integrity and my self-worth.” Check out her clip below.
Amanda Seales Welcomed To "The Real" As A Permanent Co-Host
"The Real" ladies officially complete their starting five lineup with "Insecure" actress/comedian Amanda Seales taking a permanent seat at the table.
If starring as the outspoken-yet-lively character Tiffany DuBois in HBO's hit series Insecure wasn't enough of a boss move, comedienne Amanda Seales has just landed a permanent place as one of the hosts of award-winning FOX daytime talk show The Real.
Officially replacing former host Tamar Braxton, who left after the show's second season back in 2016, Seales joins longstanding hosts Adrienne Bailon, Loni Love, Jeezy's sweetie Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley as the series enters its sixth season this year. "I didn’t expect to cry — I’m a G!" Seales said jokingly with happy tears in her eyes, obviously feeling the emotions of being welcomed with open arms and confetti by her fellow sisters in syndication.
In addition to Insecure and The Real, Amanda also hosts NBC's comedy competition series Bring The Funny in addition to spearheading a popular podcast Small Doses With Amanda Seales. Talk about a new age Renaissance Woman!
