Reflecting on the upcoming show, Pizzorno added: “After so many years, to be announcing our biggest show in London is pretty amazing. We just keep working on this live show and it’s going to be even better next year. I can’t wait, it’s going to be fucking unbelievable.”
The Finsbury Park event is part of a busy summer for the band, who are also set to perform at Leeds Festival as the event’s first-ever Thursday night headliner, alongside appearances at Boardmasters, Victorious, and Mad Cool. The group recently released their G-Funk-inspired single, ‘Superpowers’, which serves as a taste of the sound fans can expect from their upcoming record.
