Eminem revealed which lucky fan has officially been crowned the winner of his #GodzillaChallenge on the Triller app, along with the five runner-ups for the contest. Em first launched the challenge last month, asking fans to attempt to spit his insane third verse off the Juice WRLD-featured track, which reportedly sees Em dropping 229 words in 30 seconds. While fellow rappers like Bizzy Bone and Biz Markie tried their hand at it, and Twista made promises of taking a stab it but never delivered, Em ensured that the true amateurs would win the promised repost and additional, unspecified prizes. According to Em's posts on social media, a young lad under the username @jacksherlock1 has been crowned the winner.
"'Godzilla, fire spitter, monster' #GodzillaChallenge @triller winner squad on the site. Shout out to the homie jacksherlock1 on taking the #1 spot!" Em tweeted, along with a link to his website that also includes the runner-ups. Interestingly enough, none of the winners are actually rapping the verse themselves, instead lip-syncing to Eminem's original rendition. Regardless, a huge congrats to the winners for their successful efforts and for getting recognized by their idol! At the moment, it is unclear what the prizes will be.
Lil Baby Announces Mixtape Featuring Only Rappers Who Own Lambos
Lil Baby’s “Lamborghini Boys” mixtape will drop in the next 60 days but to feature on it, you have to own a Lamborghini.
Lil Baby is fresh off of the release of his sophomore album, My Turn but he can’t stop, won’t stop. Taking to Instagram Live, he gave fans a snippet of more unreleased music that he freshly recorded. Snapping on the record, he brags that he bought a coupe off of verses before cutting the music out and acknowledging the leaks that come off of his Instagram Live. “See, that’s enough, man. Y’all gon’ put my shit on YouTube, man. I got to sell this shit,” he said before revealing that he has a new tape in the pipeline.
“I’mma drop my mixtape, though. In like 60 days. Lamborghini Boys,” he announced before revealing the strict rules he set for anyone who will appear as a guest verse. “All the rap n***as who got Lamborghinis features. I’mma put features on there… Lamborghini Boys mixtape.”
Well, we could definitely expect Baby to stay quarantined in the studio for the next little while working on this forthcoming project. The rapper’s latest project marked a major feat in his career after debuting at number one on the Billboard 200. Earlier this week, it was revealed that his latest project not only moved another 104K in its second week but he also tied up with Prince and Paul McCartney on the Billboard Hot 100 for a total amount of hits.
EarthGang & J.I.D. Dropping "Spillage Village" Album Soon
EarthGang, J.I.D, 6LACK, Mereba, Hollywood JB, and JordanxBryant -- aka Spillage Village -- are doing their part to cure the quarantine blues.
Though humanity's battle against Coronavirus has ultimately led to a state of mass self-isolation and quarantine, EarthGang, J.I.D, 6LACK, Hollywood JB, JordanxBryant, and Mereba of Spillage Village have decided to stack the deck in our favor. True, the entire music industry currently rests in an uncertain state; the idea of artists holed up in a studio, using the same microphone one after another hits a little different these days. Yet art must prevail, and the Atlanta Collective has officially announced their new album SPILLIGON is on the way.

EarthGang took to both and Twitter to make the announcement, taking a moment to share a heartfelt message on the former platform. "The quarantine has made it happen," writes EarthGang, putting a positive spin on an otherwise negative situation. "New album coming from the village, are y’all ready for it. Let’s make it happen. Let’s build a stronger community during this time."
Olu & Wowgr8 doubled up by sharing an unreleased track, presumably off the album, which features JID, Mereba, EarthGang, JB, and Jordan Bryant. It's unclear whether it was whipped up in recent times, but the subject matter certainly suggests as much. "It's the end of days, end of times, my oh my," sings Venus, previewed in what looks to be a J.I.D Instagram Live stream. As of yet, none of the participating parties have yet to unveil further release date information. Considering EarthGang's tone, however, it wouldn't be surprising to see SPILLIGION surface sooner than later. Major thanks to the Village for this one!
Rich The Kid Lost Frank Ocean Collab
Rich The Kid had previously teased a collaboration with Frank Ocean, but he has no clue what happened to it.
Atlanta rapper Rich The Kid is one of the most connected men in the music industry, always managing to feature the highest degree of talent on his projects. This time around, he snagged Post Malone, Nicki Minaj, Lil Baby, and more. One name that fans were expecting to see on the tracklist for Boss Man was Frank Ocean. After all, the rapper has been teasing us with that collaboration for years. When asked about the status of that record, RTK admitted that he legitimately doesn’t know what happened to it.
“I don’t know what happened to the Frank Ocean record,” said Rich The Kid in an interview with Billboard. “[The Frank record] is old. It was a while ago.”

All the way back in 2016, Rich The Kid confirmed that he had gotten in the studio with Frank Ocean, teasing the arrival of their joint record. Then, two years later, the rapper re-visited the topic by hinting that Ocean would be on his debut album. As of now, the song has not been released.
It’s possible that the record was on a hard drive that was misplaced, or something else happened to it. Are you still open to hearing what Frank and Rich were working on in the studio?
