With each of these projects — 2016’s Uninvited, 2018’s In the Sky, and 2019’s Driving Music — the scope of her ambition and skill grew, as Shaw evolved as a producer, expanded her own musical tastes, and matured as a songwriter. Her first single of 2022, “Your Love,” represented a higher level to her art, a biting mix of hip-hop and pop unlike anything she’s created before. The result of this refinement is her long-awaited debut album Butterfly Blue, which incorporates new sounds into Shaw’s pop framework. This is the exact album she wanted to make, and no one was going to stop her. Set to be released on August 12 via BMG, ‘Cheat Codes’ is Danger Mouse’s first hip-hop full-length since his ‘DANGERDOOM’ collaboration with the late MF DOOM which was released back in October 2005. Sigur Rós recently kicked off their 2022 world tour and have debuted new material – watch below. The Icelandic post-rock band started their tour in Mexico City on April 28, where they opened their 20-song set with ‘Svefn-g-englar’, marking the first time they’ve played the track since 2013. Woman dies after attending Bang Face Weekender 2022

A woman in her 30s has died in hospital after attending Bang Face Weekender 2022 in Southport last week. This year’s edition of the annual electronic dance music event took place at Pontins Holiday Park in the Merseyside town between May 5-9. As Mixmag reports, the unidentified woman was found unconscious in her chalet room at the complex on Friday morning (May 6). She was subsequently taken to hospital but died shortly afterwards. Police are not treating the death as suspicious, and the incident is currently under investigation. A spokesperson for Britannia Hotels, which owns Pontins, told the Liverpool Echo: “May we take this opportunity to send our deepest condolences to the family in these most distressing of times.” Confirming the woman’s death, a Merseyside police spokesperson said: “It was reported that a woman in her 30s was found unconscious in a room on the resort. Emergency services attended and the woman was taken to hospital where she sadly passed away.” They added: “The woman’s next of kin have been informed and the death is not believed to be suspicious. A woman gave birth to a baby boy during a Metallica show in Curitiba, Brazil on Saturday night (May 7).
